DiMora Natalia

Set to be the world's most expensive and technologically-advanced car, the DiMora Natalia will have wealthy petrol-heads throwing their cash and weight around to be first on the waiting-list. Founded by Aldred DiMora, known for his ability to create high-end vehicles such as the Clenet and Sceptre, DiMora Motorcars has been the marque on everybody's lips since it first announced its exciting project. So what will buyers get for such an enormous price? For a start, the DiMora Natalia will be loaded with more gadgets than James Bond's Q could ever dream up, including revolutionary colour-changing paint, headlights that double as video projectors, massage seats for rear passengers, four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering, night vision, external cameras, retractable TV screens, lighted Waterford crystal ashtrays, a self-corking wine bottle, wireless computer with WiFi Internet access and temperature-adjusting cup holders to keep your Starbucks warm in the winter and your Diet Coke ice-cold in the summer. Incredibly, the supercar will also be integrated with a biofeedback system to monitor the driver's vital signs and adjust the drive and internal environment according to his or her stress levels. Aside from having the kind of aesthetics that will have women padestrians practically ripping their blouses off and throwing themselves on the bonnet , the DiMora Natalia will be fitted with a V16 engine that is capable of displacing 14 litres and developing an outrageous 1,200 horsepower. Although a much-anticipated prototype has yet to be unveiled, if the specs are anything to go by then the tarmac has a new king of the road.

Rolls Royce Phantom: Peony Edition

Rolls-Royce has created a special edition model of their Phantom exclusively for the United Arab Emirates. The special edition model is called Peony, which borrows it’s name from the Asian flower that symbolizes royalty in ancient Oriental culture. The car features a two-tone pearl blue exterior and Seashell interior. The car even comes with a complementary bottle of perfume created by Emirate fragrance specialist Hind.

No word on how much it will cost or how many will be made.

Dead Prez in Denver at DNC Rally

For those who may not know who Dead Prez is, allow me to introduce them. This is a group out of NY who has been delivering truth in lyrics for YEARS. No, they don't get a ton of radio play, nor are they on BET aka Bullsh*tting Everyone Terribly, but they are intelligent, articulate, stylish emcees with a message. Advance your mental and listen to the lyrics. Turn my normal playlist at the bottom off and learn something.

Pumas: Spring 09!!!!

Wrap your feet in a pair of these rich, almost liquid, looking City Wings. Initially available in four colors, they feature PPG uppers and midsole with our “Subway” graphic. Our designers were inspired by Pony’s Brooklyn roots, using the #2 train as motivation for the collection.

These exclusive City Wings will be available in the Holiday 08 season at select Paris boutiques in limited quantities. They’ll be in the States in spring ‘09.

Articulate & Phella: "Oh Really"

"These dudes you brought up here....they are like....Kick, Push." That was what 1 of the promoters told me about Articulate and Phella of the Famous Firm, regarding there performance. In a galaxy ruled by hip hop based on money, hoes, and clothes, these 2 emerged victorious in a market that isn't used to conscious rap outside the Legendary Roots crew out of Philadelphia. Insert "Oh Really".....OH NO RAP WITH COMMON SENSE!!!! What about the rap about rims, cars we don't have and can't afford, and a lifestyle that is exaggerated for ratings? Here is the answer:

"Nasir, do you have a copy of the guy Phella's cd, because my son has been singing this song all day."

"What song homie?"

"Something like, "It's Phella Day, imma Celebrate!"

The interesting thing is, my friends son is only 4."

Phella Day is at the 6:05 Mark.

Famous Firm, Articulate, and Custom Motorsports. All love.

The Things I do to Get On....

After reading the Ibn Jasper Q and A, I was patiently waiting for a magazine, tv show, or radio host to call me for an interview, but they didn't call, so I did my own damn Q and A. [THEY JUST DON'T KNOW MY LEVEL OF HUSTLE TO GET WHERE I'M GOING] Media outlets: Don't hop on me when I blow, I gave you a chance to get at me before I went platinum in the book and clothes game!! LOL....

Live interview from Fluffy's Master Works, 52nd Street in Philadelphia

Media: So, Nasir, I've been following your career for quite some time, give the people some insight on who you are.

Nasir: Nasir Aleem aka King of Blazers, aka Mr. AXP Fly Society, aka You Don't Have These Yet, aka Where did He get Those From, and a bunch of other aliases according to how arrogant I'm feeling at that moment. (laughs while playing with Blackberry) On a serious note, I'm an author, clothing designer, and a businessman on all levels. Currently I'm back in college to finish my degree in Gerontology, a branch of Social Work and I have a concentration in Behavioral Science. Aside from college, I work with at-risk youth in the capacity of a youth service specialist, meaning I interact 1 on 1 with them, do needs assessments, and mentor them in the right direction. My after hour activities include, designing clothes, including sneakers, Philadelphia Custom Motorsports, a auto salon in Southwest Philadelphia, Platinum Sportsbar in the Northeast section of Philadelphia, and my clothing imprint, AXP Fly Society.

Media: What made you make the choice to finish your degree so late in life? You're approaching 30 and you've seen some success in the business world already. Why go back?

Nasir:I promised myself a long time ago that I would finish college. When I was running wild in the streets and I stopped going to school to pursue fast money and street dreams, I lost that focus, living for the moment, versus the future. I am finishing my degree because I promised my family I would, but more importantly, because I believe that with my background I need that to make myself a bit more marketable. I like stability and in today's world, a degree helps. I'm not saying the college dropouts don't make it, but I don't want to chance it. My degree is a Plan B for me. My Plan A is to be a successful entrepreneur and author, all while mentoring youth. The degree is my Plan B, for stability. I have been grounded in the mindset that I can't work for anyone else, because I feel my talents can make me wealthy, versus padding someone else's pockets and leaving me with crumbs, because that's what corporate America does. The bosses make the real money and people settle for a nice salary. Granted, I would love a 100k/year salary, but believe this; If you are paid 100k per year, you probably are making the company you work for millions. Why not make those millions for yourself?

Media: How do you feel about the state of fashion right now?

Nasir: I think fashion is going in an interesting place right now. The independent designers, the ones who work out of their homes and small storefronts are making tremendous moves in the industry and being recognized for their talents. The days of just being a celebrity and slapping your name on some bs are over. Fashion is evolving into people stepping away from what is deemed as normal and venturing into mixing the simple with the complex. For example, I may come out with a pair of Louis Vuitton sneakers on and a v-neck out of K Mart, but I look like a million bucks. The days of being a label hoe are winding down. There is alot of good fashion that isn't based on name brands.

Media: What legacy do you want to leave the people with?

Nasir: I want the world to appreciate my creativity, business mind, and my style. More important, I want people who look like me to know that WE can be a success without a jump shot, hit record, or street fame. There are alot of US making power moves, but they don't interact with people on a base level. Everything is so pretentious and phony. I do this with or without the cameras around.

Disclaimer: I just interviewed myself. These are some things that I was thinking about, so I put them in question and answer form. I don't want people blogging that Nasir Aleem is faking interviews. Just my thoughts. Peace!!!

Grown Man Business....Leave the White T's Alone!!!

Gentlemen: You MUST have a few of these in your closet. Blue and Black are mandatory for beginners, once you step into auto pilot on your swagger, you can venture into other colors, and if you dare, you can email me at kingofblazers@gmail.com and I will create a masterpiece for you. Be warned: My blazers typically start at $500.

Fellas: You also need to have a few suits in your arsenal, just in case. Don't just have the basic "I-Have-A-Interview" suit, grab something sharp from a good tailor. Spend a few dollars, because a good suit is mandatory.

Dope Jeans!!

Fall season, these are a great look, especially with the blazer, graphic t-shirt, and a FRESH sneaker, or a nice loafer.

World Exclusive: Nasir Aleem Book Cover

After many months of deliberation, numerous graphic designers, and the tedious process of deciding on a cover, I have made a decision. This is the last piece in my puzzle to becoming a published author. I have secured my ISBN, my book is edited, and now my cover is complete. I am going to begin aggressively marketing my book and when I have my exact release date, I will let the world know. Thanks to everyone who has supported me in this process and to those who doubted me, thanks as well. I need the negative energy to remind me of what I never want to be.

You Don't Become a Success by Hanging with BUMS.....

"It's not a diss blog, it's a real blog."

The past few days have afforded me the opportunity to cut some ties and make some real decisions. As a realist, I understand that all relationships aren't good for you and that people you may care about can have ulterior motives and not your best interest at heart. Needless to say, I'm at a place in my life where I'm reaching for success on all levels and if the people in my circle aren't doing the same.....

I'm finishing my degree, coming closer and closer to becoming a published author, and I'm on my grind, making the moves needed to secure a future that doesn't include making someone else rich off of my intelligence. Complacency is out of the question and I am realizing that sometimes you have to step back and clean some things up for the greater good. Oh well, not my loss. Still love you, but.....
