Mercedes Benz Armored Limo
The Merceds Special-Protection Group unveiled it’s latest in luxury protection with the S600 Pullman Guard State Limo. The stretched S600 Mercedes is a custom built limo with armoring designed into the into the body structure rather than added to key points after the fact. This addition of armory at the design level allows the Pullman Limo to withstand projectiles, grenades and even the famed paparazzi. Even if you’re not located in a war zone it’s never crazy to think about your safety. Inside the S600 you’ll find all the standard luxury equiptment you’d expect to find in a Mercedes limo including state-of-the-art communications and entertainment systems. Under the hood you’re looking at 512 HP twin-turbo V12. Which might come in handy in the event you need to make a swift exit, not that there’s anything that could take out this armored limo to begin with.

2D3D Tables from Formtank
A new collection of tables have been introduced by Formtank, a small British manufacturer. The 2D3D group of tables includes a desk, boardroom table, and coffee table. The tables’ design uses complex mathematics and precision engineering to create a base made from a single sheet of steel, which eliminates waste, and reveals a visually sophisticated structure.
Designer George Rice says “it’s all about triangles, the remarkable strength and stability relies on four triangles which can been seen in the cross section. These work together creating the rigidity, and allowing us to use relatively thin plate. The outcome is totally unique and the glass top acts like a picture frame, bringing the whole piece together. It’s also a great icebreaker for meetings with new clients.”

Japan Society
New York’s Japan Society will be holding an exhibition of sculptural bamboo art that will run between October 4th and January 11th.
From the Japan Society:
Over the past few years, Japanese bamboo artists have reached beyond the established boundaries of their craft. New Bamboo is the world’s first exhibition devoted exclusively to Japanese bamboo as a sculptural medium, featuring 23 innovators, old and young, who explore to the full the tension between traditional skill and new expressive opportunities. Ranging from ethereal, computer-designed filigrees, through dramatic wall pieces to angry-looking, dirt-encrusted tangles and anthropomorphic, sexually charged sculptures, the more than 90 works on display demonstrate awesome technique, meticulous attention to detail and extraordinary creativity.

Ferrari Motorcycle
Vintage and modern Ferrari projects Influence my design…
it’s a mix of what I find to be the best Ferrari lines with the
latest technology I could think of in terms of engine, gear
and driving management,
Preserving Ferrari lines and history, to create a normal
dimensions bike and to use Ferrari existing technology,
to take the ease of serve as a factor while thinking about
low profile and CG. but in any case to produce a practical
machine and not in any way a "star wars" future ride
This is a V4 engine based on the Ferrari Enzo Block shape
the oil sump was moved forward as separated oil tank while
the engine lower case reshaped to a mono block gearbox
that support the swing arm radial movements, hydraulic
engine unit supply pressure for smart shock damping
system and clutch, the engine is both air - water cooled
the lower fins was taken from traditional Ferrari engines
and seamlessly blends with the bottom of fairing to form
a major heat exchange surface at the bottom of the bike
